Little Sponges® is delighted to be one of the sponsors for the National Association for Bilingual Education conference in Albuquerque, New Mexico!  Our founder and CEO Natalya Seals will be giving a presentation about “Using Digital Resources to Develop Language and Early Literacy Skills in English, Spanish, French, Chinese, Russian, and German.”  Research shows that effective DLL and ELL programs integrate technology into curriculum and instruction. This session will demonstrate best practices for integrating technology to support biliteracy and academic content proficiency for DLL and ELL students in preschool through 2nd grade.

The presentation will take place on Thursday, March 1st at 2:10pm in the San Juan room. Also, Little Sponges® team will be presenting at the exhibit #905 in the Exhibit Hall, located in the Albuquerque Convention Center.

NABE’s priorities include:  Improving instructional practices for linguistically and culturally diverse children; providing bilingual educators with more high-quality professional development opportunities; securing adequate funding for the programs serving limited-English-proficient students; and keeping the rights of language-minority Americans clearly in focus as states and communities move forward with educational reforms.
